Paintings
In January of 2008 I spent a month in Wisconsin painting and drawing the rural winter landscape. I came away from my trip with a deeper understanding of the beauty of the landscape and the vitality and pride of the farmers who owned much of the land I was painting. I also learned how many layers I needed to wear to stay warm while painting outside in sub-zero weather.
